Be a Cartoon
Short of being a trained animator, there have previously been few ways to turn yourself into an animated character. Recently though, there have been many applications that have sprung up on the Internet that allow you to create a cartoon version of yourself. You can share this picture with friends or make it your avatar, Facebook profile picture or anything else you can think of.
Instructions
1. Decide if you wish to create your cartoon character from a photo or if you wish to start from scratch. If you are starting from scratch, skip to step 4.
2. Visit one of the photo upload cartoon sites like CartoonMe or BeFunky. Upload the picture of your choice from your computer by clicking "Upload."
3. Choose the effects you want to use from the effects menu. On BeFunky, for instance, you can use cartoonify, sunburst, charcoal effects and more. Once you are happy with the cartoon version of your picture, click "Save" or "Share," and begin to use the picture as you please.
4. To make a cartoon from scratch, visit a site like Simpsonize Me or South Park Studio. Search through the various categories to find and select the right styles for you. There are categories for hair, skin, body, legs, hat, eyes, mouth and hands on the South Park Studio.
5. Continue to customize your cartoon character until you feel that it is a good representation of you. Click "Save" to download the cartoon to your computer.
