Cute Scrapbook Page Ideas

Scrapbooks can create wonderful memories.

There are many ways you can showcase your talent by creating scrapbooks. There is no right or wrong way to create a scrapbook as long as you’re creating a book that you enjoy looking at. There are many ways scrapbooks can be created to include memories that will last a lifetime. Adding items, such as borders to pages, can be simple, but will help to enhance the pages. Scrapbooks are even great items to give away as gifts for birthdays or holidays.

Felt Accents

Felt accents can make a scrapbook page look attractive. Most craft stores sell felt accents at affordable prices. Felt accents can be in the form of cute flowers, butterflies or even pets. The accent is easy to use because there isn’t any cutting required. You simply remove the accent from the package and glue it to your page. Accents are also sold in a variety of colors to make each page unique. Accents can also be found in a variety of shapes, such as basketballs, soccer balls or tiny pianos, and are a great way to decorate a child's scrapbook to express his favorite hobby or sport.

Time Line Photos

Everyone loves time line photos, which can include posed and candid photos. You can dedicate a page of your scrapbook to a child or spouse by placing photos of different periods of her life. A child’s page can begin with the first photo showing the child’s birth, the next photo can be the child learning to ride a bike, and the remaining photos would continue to show how the child has progressed each year or couple of years as she grows older. Pages for a newly married couple can show photos of when the couple first met, an engagement party, etc. Include captions under each photo such as, "Our First Date." Captions can be created using decorative lettering to make them more visually appealing.

Hand and Foot Prints

Kids will love to see prints of their hands or feet on a scrapbook page. You may create a page dedicated to them by tracing their hands and feet on colored construction paper. Cut out the tracings and glue or tape them to a page. Add a title at the top of the page such as, "Jennifer’s 3rd Birthday." You can add to the book each year with new hands and feet prints to show your child’s growth.
