Construct A Carnival Booth

Construct a Carnival Booth

The design and construction of your Carnival booth is directly related to your success as a vendor. Whether you have a face-painting booth or a gaming booth, your carnival booth needs to stand out. This article will teach you construct and decorate an inviting carnival booth.

Instructions

1. Easy ups can be difficult to put up alone. Find at least one other person to help you. Make sure that you stay within your assigned space, and that you tether your easy up to the ground. Tethering is often skipped in the setup process, which can result in injury to passersby.

2. Cover your easy up with fabrics so that the top doesn't show through. Glue Velcro to the fabric and the easy up for quicker setup and break down, and so that the fabric will not be blown away. If you prefer that the sides of your booth be enclosed, do so by draping fabric to the ground. Secure it with heavy objects, such as bricks, on the inside. Choose the colors of your fabric based on your theme or product. Be sure to cover the back of your booth completely to avoid people walking through.

If your booth is a game, you may want to use a wooden board to cover the back so that you can secure your game to it. Hang the prizes on the inside walls of your booth. Hang the best prizes at the top, and the consolation prizes at the bottom.

3. Use signs. Put one banner at the top of your booth stating clearly what your booth provides. "Face Painting" or "Ring Toss" are clear and concise. Use sandwich boards at both sides of your booth that reiterate what you are providing and how much it will cost.

4. Place a rectangular table at the front of your booth. Cover the table with fabric consistent with your booth theme. Secure the fabric with bricks under the table. This is where you will keep your money box, refreshments and possibly extra product. If you are selling a product such as jewelry, use the table to display it. No matter what you are vending, always bring business cards to the carnival.
