Whether you want to make a light show for a party or simply decorate your house for a special occasion, you can learn orchestrate a light show.

Instructions

Inside Laser Light Show

1. Place your loudspeaker on a flat surface. Place some rubber cement on the back of the small mirror, and attach it on one of the sides of the speaker.

2. Connect the speaker wires to the back of the speakers. Connect the opposite ends to the back of the stereo. Make sure the black wires are attached to the black stereo button and the red wires with the red buttons.

3. Turn off any lights in the room. Place the laser light pointer so it points at the mirror on the speaker. Play around with the positioning of the laser light if you want a specific angle. Turn off all the light in the room to see where the laser light lands on a wall or vertical surface. Once you find the location, use the tape to hold the laser light pointer down.

4. Turn on the stereo with your chosen music, so the speaker will give vibrations to the mirror. This will make patterns and shapes on the wall because of the vibrations in the mirror.

5. Place colored cellophane paper directly in front of the laser light pointer to give the patterns and shapes different colors in your light show.

Outside Lighting Show

6. Hang the Christmas lights as you prefer. For example, hang the blue colored Christmas lights on the fence and the red on the windows and doors of the house.

7. Plug the Christmas lights' into the timers and set the timers as you prefer. To make a flashy light show, consider setting the timers to turn on and off at two-second interchanging intervals. For example, set the blue light timer to go on while the red timer goes off.

8. Plug the timers into wall outlets to power the lighting show. Set up the stereo system and place the outside speakers on flat surfaces, such as a front porch or an outside window sill. Turn on the stereo to play music if you desire music at your lighting show. However, music is not required.
