Design A Rhinestone T Shirt

Rhinestone t-shirts can be personalized with slogans, names, nicknames or even a company logo, and are great for social events, weddings, birthday parties, night club wear and more. There are many sites online that offer custom rhinestone t-shirt services including JustJen.com, CustomCouture.com and Crystiques.com. Or you can order rhinestone iron-on transfers and create your very own shirt at home.

Instructions

Design Rhinestone Shirt Online

1. Navigate to a custom rhinestone t-shirt service website. On the site, select the option to "Create a Rhinestone T-shirt."

2. Select the type of shirt that you would like to create. Most websites allow you to create a custom rhinestone shirt in the form of short sleeve, tank top, spaghetti strap tank top, long sleeve and sweatshirt. Prices will vary based on the type of shirt you select and the size of your design. The larger your design, the more rhinestones that will be required.

3. Select the color of your rhinestones. Many sites will have a wide range of colors to choose from including aqua, jade, emerald, peach, sapphire and more. Many sites will also offer premium rhinestones made of Swarovski crystals.

4. Order your shirt. Enter your custom message that you want to appear on your shirt. Select the number of shirts you would like to purchase. Review your order and shipping options. Enter your billing and payment info to complete your order.

Rhinestone Iron-On Transfer at Home

5. Order rhinestone iron-on transfer online. There are many websites that will create custom rhinestone t-shirt transfers for you to iron onto your own apparel. One such site is dazzlingdesignsinc.com. You will receive your transfer with a white translucent backing. The backing should remain on the transfer until you are ready to use it.

6. Place your t-shirt on a flat surface. Place a piece of Teflon sheet inside your shirt where you plan to iron on the design. This will prevent the adhesive from the transfer from going through the top layer of the shirt and bonding to the back.

7. Repair design if any rhinestones have shifted during shipping. Move rhinestones with a pair of tweezers to their correct position. Peel the backing off of the transfer and carefully place the rhinestone design onto the t-shirt.

8. Iron design onto your shirt. Place a piece of Teflon sheet over the design to prevent direct heat onto the rhinestones. Apply heat to transfer by placing iron onto the transfer area for 25-30 seconds. Do not move the iron around; doing so will move the rhinestones out of place. Remove the iron and allow your t-shirt to cool for 15-20 seconds and then remove the Tacky Tape that was used to hold the rhinestones in place. Gently touch the rhinestones to ensure they adhere to garment.
