Create a flyer for free.
One of the most effective ways to advertise something is by printing out a flyer. Flyers can be duplicated and handed out or posted for others to see. There are many software programs that can be purchased to create flyers, however, there are many resources available that will allow someone to create a flyer for free. Search online for websites that offer free flyer templates in a variety of different categories and download the program.
Instructions
1. Choose a theme for the flyer based on what it is advertising. Decide what type of pictures you want to use and what words you want to include on the flyer.
2. Find a website that offers free templates to use or download. SmartDraw and Band Flyers are two sites that offer free templates. Browse through the sites to see if there are any templates or pictures you can use for your flyer.
3. Download the free program and follow the instructions. Upload photos from your computer or select photos from the program. Add text information to the flyer, adjusting text size and color if necessary.
4. Proofread the flyer for any spelling or grammar errors. Make sure the text is centered correctly and that the flyer has a professional appearance.
5. Print out a test page and look it over before you continue printing. Once the flyer has your approval, print out the rest of the copies. Take the original copy along if you plan on making the copies at a copy store.
