Mom Tattoo
There are few tattoo artists who can free-form design tattoos directly onto their client's skin. Many use a cheat tactic that involves stencil tattoos. Stencil tattoos allow the artist to draw his design in the right size and proportion beforehand so he has a guide for this permanent procedure.
Instructions
1. Design your tattoo art on a piece of paper. Grab a piece of scratch paper and start brain-storming. Sketching your ideas on scratch paper first will save you from wasting stencil fluid and tracing paper trying to figure out what design you want to use.
2. Transfer your final design to your tracing paper. Once you have a design that you like, use it as a template to ink the design onto your tracing paper. Hold your sketch up to the body part to be tattooed so that you know it is the correct size for your client's body. Once you are sure that it is the right size, fill your technical pen with stencil fluid and use it to draw your design onto the tracing paper.
3. Let your stencil dry completely after you have drawn your design.
4. Clean and prepare the skin. Make sure that the client's skin is cleaned and, if needed, shaved. Once the skin is dry, apply a thin coat of the deodorant everywhere your tattoo will touch.
5. Carefully place the tracing paper on your client's skin. Ask him to stay very still so that the stencil does not blur. Once it has been on the skin for a couple of seconds carefully remove the stencil. You now have a stencil on your client's skin to help guide your tattoo needle.
